Let me tell you about the header photo: it's one of my favorite black and white photography of all time. Allegedly, it's been shot in Istanbul circa 1850. And man, this is how shisha is supposed to be consumed. Patrons of the cafe are all sitting facing one direction. If any one of them knows any other, he's not showing it. They've all got this gentlemanly 'fuck off' expression. Like seriously, have your smoke, drink your concentrated black coffee, and be on your way. Mind your business. Never cross your legs. Never trim your tash......
I'd love to know what they're all looking at, though.
Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, to celebrate the event, I've got a little quiz for you: how many people can you see in the aforesaid photo?
Kindly leave your answer with links to your favorite black'n'white/old photography if any.....

I like the new layout DJ.
Maybe 11 people in the photo??
Hey Dj,
I'm gonna go with 11 people....and I love the photo.
There's something about sepia tones that sets my imagination on fire.
there are 15 people in the picture or maybe 16, not sure what it is in the dark but I can see clear 15
good luck and ramadan kareem!
i dont thing the one direction pose is due to how things should be, its probably because of the gigantic wired machine taking the photo :P
nice picture/commentary though :)
Nice new design DJ!
I would say 10 people and a leg :)
Thanks guys. So glad you like the new design!
I don't have a confirmed answer. I think it's 11 people. (or ten and a leg as my smartass friend Ali puts is :))
Do visit again.
Love the picture! Actually there's 13 people in it - 10 at the front, although one of them you can only see his knees - and three inside peering out of the windows
